On Saturday 22nd November 2025, Stefanie and Christopher celebrated their wedding day at Larkspur Lodge surrounded by their closest family and friends. Filled with rich winter styling, thoughtful personal touches and an incredible atmosphere from start to finish, their wedding felt joyful and completely true to them as a couple.

With glowing candlelight, beautifully decorated Christmas trees throughout the Lodge and music carefully chosen for every part of the day, their celebration perfectly captured the magic of early winter in Cheshire.

A Relaxed Winter Morning In The Loft

Stefanie spent the morning getting ready in The Loft from 8am, enjoying a calm and relaxed start to the day as preparations unfolded at the Lodge. Meanwhile, Christopher arrived later that morning to oversee the delivery and styling of the couple’s Christmas trees, which became one of the standout features of the entire celebration.

Three illuminated trees framed the wedding breakfast room behind the couple’s top table, whilst two more transformed the ceremony room alongside red roses, candlelight and festive touches. Together, the styling created a romantic winter atmosphere that carried beautifully throughout the day.

Welcoming Guests To The Lodge

From 1pm, guests arrived through the side entrance into the bar area, where drinks, laughter and conversation created a relaxed and welcoming start to the celebrations. Stefanie and Christopher had thoughtfully planned the flow of the day so guests wouldn’t see the main wedding breakfast room until later in the afternoon, adding anticipation as the day unfolded.

As the ceremony approached, guests were invited through the back entrance into the ceremony room. Before Stefanie’s arrival, members of the bridal party were brought into the main room for a special reveal moment, creating excitement and setting the tone for the celebration ahead.

One of the most unforgettable moments came just before the ceremony itself, when the bridal party gathered for a Baby Guinness shot before making their entrance. With the shot trolley making its way down the aisle to “Best Friend” by 50 Cent, the ceremony instantly reflected the couple’s fun-loving personalities and the lively atmosphere they wanted for their day.

A Romantic Ceremony Full Of Personality

At 2pm, Stefanie made her entrance to “Crystal” by Stevie Nicks, escorted by her father alongside two flower girls, her sisters, mother and nephew. The ceremony room looked stunning, with red rose petals lining the aisle, bud vases and roses provided by Ruby Doodles, and the soft glow of the “Lit With Love” package paired with our Edison light bar.

Reserved seating for immediate family and the bridal party ensured those closest to the couple shared every special moment as the ceremony unfolded.

Music played a huge part throughout the ceremony, with “Stir It Up” by Bob Marley and “Free Falling” by Tom Petty accompanying the signing, before the newlyweds made their joyful exit to “Wild Women Do”.

From the candlelight to the music and romantic floral styling, the entire ceremony felt intimate and heartfelt, perfectly suiting November weddings at Larkspur Lodge.

Drinks, Music And Celebrating Together

Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed canapés, prosecco and drinks in the bar area whilst Gabrielle from El Gabriel Photography captured the celebrations throughout the Lodge. Wedding Content by Vicky also documented the day alongside the photography team, preserving both the big moments and the quieter interactions shared between loved ones.

Live music from Atlantic Vibe added even more atmosphere during the drinks reception, with the duo performing an hour-long set in the bar area while guests mingled and celebrated together.

A Stylish Wedding Breakfast

At 4:30pm, guests were invited into the Lodge Room for the wedding breakfast and welcomed Stefanie and Christopher as the new Mr and Mrs Simpson. Entering to “All Of The Lights” and “Pour It Up”, the couple were greeted by guests waving napkins and cheering them into the room, creating an unforgettable start to the evening celebrations.

One of the standout moments followed shortly afterwards as Stefanie and Christopher poured their prosecco tower beneath the glow of the Christmas trees. Styled with coupe glasses and cherries provided by the couple, the display created a glamorous focal point before guests took their seats.

The wedding breakfast, served by Fork & Field Catering, took place beneath candlelit candelabras and festive styling chosen by the couple. Seven round tables were positioned beneath the windows, whilst the illuminated Christmas trees created a stunning backdrop behind the newlyweds throughout dinner.

Speeches followed the wedding toast, beginning with Christopher before moving onto the maid of honour and best man. Just like the rest of the day, the atmosphere perfectly balanced emotional moments with plenty of laughter, energy and celebration.

An Evening Celebration To Remember

As the evening celebrations began, guests were invited back into the ceremony room where Atlantic Vibe returned with another lively set. Espresso martinis, beers and mocktails were served while glow sticks added a fun and vibrant touch to the evening atmosphere.

The wedding cake from CocoLily Cakes was displayed on the signing table before being cut during the band’s first song. Served alongside pink napkins and prosecco in the couple’s coupe glasses, the cake cutting became another memorable moment shared with family and friends.

Following the evening set, guests returned to the main room whilst Stefanie headed back to The Loft to change into her second dress ahead of the first dance.

At 8:15pm, Stefanie and Christopher shared their first dance to “Shelter Of Your Love” by Jimmy Cliff before celebrations continued late into the evening with music from DJ Ollie Birch Hampson. The dancefloor remained full all night as guests celebrated together beneath the warm glow of the Lodge.

A Beautiful Winter Wedding At Larkspur Lodge

Stefanie and Christopher’s wedding was such a wonderful reflection of who they are as a couple. From the candlelit ceremony and glowing Christmas trees to the lively music and packed dancefloor, every part of their wedding felt personal and full of joy.

It was a pleasure for our team at Larkspur Lodge to host their celebration and help bring their vision to life, creating a wedding day filled with warmth, atmosphere and memories to treasure forever.
