Charlotte & Heydar’s Wedding at Larkspur Lodge

On a beautiful October day, Larkspur Lodge welcomed Charlotte and Heydar for a celebration defined by elegance, warmth and thoughtful personal touches. Their wedding blended classic style with meaningful tradition, creating a day that felt truly timeless and full of heart.

A graceful start to the day

Charlotte began her morning in The Loft, our serene and spacious preparation area, surrounded by her bridal party.

Her ceremony gown was beautifully traditional, featuring a plunging V-neckline and delicate lace that trailed through the skirt and train. With her hair styled in an elegant updo and a bouquet of white roses and greenery in hand, she looked stunning.

Heydar prepared at Cottons in Knutsford before arriving at the venue in a perfectly tailored black tuxedo with a satin lapel and classic bow tie. His groomsmen matched his formal style, creating a cohesive look that worked seamlessly with the couple’s vision for a sophisticated, traditional wedding.

Guests gather

As guests started to arrive, our bar and lounge area offered a warm and welcoming setting. Soft background music and the gentle hum of conversation created a relaxed build-up to the ceremony. The anticipation in the room was subtle but unmistakable as everyone awaited the moment Charlotte and Heydar would take their vows.

A ceremony full of meaning

Charlotte walked down the aisle with her father, accompanied by her six bridesmaids. The ceremony was set to a beautifully curated playlist that reflected the couple’s taste, from the romantic opening notes of Ave Maria to the joyful exit to Everywhere by Fleetwood Mac.

The aisle was styled by Tamryn’s Treasures, who created delicate white floral arrangements that complemented the surroundings without overpowering them. With loved ones gathered close and the room filled with gentle emotion, the ceremony felt intimate and sincere.

Photography and moments together

After the ceremony, guests stepped outside to greet the newlyweds and enjoy a relaxed start to the afternoon. Charlotte and Heydar spent some time with Adam Hudson Photography, capturing elegant portraits and natural, candid moments that reflected the warmth of the day.

Videographer Stefan from YSD Media worked alongside Adam, documenting the celebration with a soft, storytelling style that brought every emotion and detail to life.

A stylish wedding breakfast

Guests were welcomed into the Lodge Room for the wedding breakfast, where Charlotte and Heydar made their entrance as the new Mr and Mrs Ahmadi. Before the meal began, they incorporated a short Sofreh ceremony, adding a meaningful cultural moment to the day. It was thoughtful, personal and seamlessly woven into the flow of the celebrations.

The room itself looked elegant and inviting, with a mix of long and round tables dressed in crisp white linens. Tamryn’s Treasures provided the floral centrepieces, echoing the soft white tones from the ceremony. The warm glow of the Edison light bar enhanced the atmosphere, creating a gentle, celebratory mood.

The meal was served by the talented Fork & Field team, whose dishes are always beautifully presented and full of flavour. Conversations and laughter filled the room as guests settled into the afternoon, enjoying their delicious meal.

Speeches filled with warmth

The speeches were a really lovely part of the day. The father of the bride shared the first words, followed by Heydar, the maid of honour and the best man. Each brought their own mix of humour, heartfelt memories and gentle emotion, creating a relaxed atmosphere that had everyone smiling, laughing and reminiscing together.

Evening transformation

As guests wandered into the bar area, the team at Larkspur Lodge prepared the room for the evening. Without the arrival of additional guests, the celebration kept its intimate feel, with the same close group ready to carry the festivities into the night.

The photobooth from The Candid Company quickly became a favourite stop, giving everyone the chance to have fun, gather for group shots and capture those spontaneous, joy-filled moments that always make evenings so memorable.

A glamorous evening

Charlotte changed into her second outfit for the evening: a striking, beaded flapper-style mini dress that brought a touch of 1920s glamour to the night. Its movement and sparkle were perfect for dancing and added a joyful shift in tone as the celebrations continued.

Their first dance opened the evening, followed by the cake cutting and traditional knife dance. The cake, created by Buzzy Bee, had been displayed on the dresser earlier in the day before being moved to the dancefloor for its moment of celebration.

DJ Navid took over for the night, creating an energetic atmosphere that brought guests to the dancefloor until the very end of the evening. The lighting, music and elegant surroundings came together to create a warm and memorable finish to a beautiful day.

As the night drew to a close, Charlotte and Heydar’s wedding felt like a true reflection of who they are: elegant, thoughtful, deeply connected to family and full of joy. It was a privilege for the team at Larkspur Lodge to host such a meaningful celebration.
